Rocky Mountain High

How infinitely superior to our physical senses are those of the mind! The spiritual eye sees not only rivers of water but of air. It sees the crystals of the rock in rapid sympathetic motion, giving enthusiastic obedience to the sun’s rays, then sinking back to rest in the night. The whole world is in motion to the center.

So also sounds. We hear only woodpeckers and squirrels and the rush of turbulent streams. But imagination gives us the sweet music of tiniest insect wings, enables us to hear, all around the world, the vibration of every needle, the waving of every bole and branch, the sound of stars in circulation like particles in the blood.

The Sierra canyons are full of avalanche debris – we hear them boom again, and we read the past sounds from present conditions. Again we hear the earthquake rock-falls.

Imagination is usually regarded as a synonym for the unreal. Yet is true imagination healthful and real, no more likely to mislead than the coarse senses. Indeed, the power of imagination makes us infinite.

Knowing Wisdom

Knowing others is wisdom;
Knowing the self is enlightenment.
Mastering others requires force;
Mastering the self requires strength;
He who knows he has enough is rich.
Perseverance is a sign of will power.
He who stays where he is endures.
To die but not to perish is to be

Eternally present.

Waters At Bay

brewing storm - Night Lowlight photography (photoforu.blogspot.com)

One summer night, out on a flat headland, all but surrounded by the waters of the bay, the horizons were remote and distant rims on the edge of space. Millions of stars blazed in darkness, and on the far shore a few lights burned in cottages. Otherwise there was no reminder of human life. My companion and I were alone with the stars: the misty river of the Milky Way flowing across the sky, the patterns of the constellations standing out bright and clear, a blazing planet low on the horizon. It occurred to me that if this were a sight that could be seen only once in a century, this little headland would be thronged with spectators. But it can be see many scores of nights in any year, and so the lights burned in the cottages and the inhabitants probably gave not a thought to the beauty overhead; and because they could see it almost any night, perhaps they never will. ~Rachel Carson

About the Human Condition

The true pulse of life is love
It is the human condition
It’s why we exist.

Of thoughts of yesterday
That love does truly exists
It’s within ourselves.

It seems, love is so much in our lives
We can experience the sense of love
Returned to us by those who want it
From us.

You’re a lover I’m a lover
We are all lovers here
Deep down all we want is to love
And be loved in return.

Regarding, romantic love specifically
How many times we desire
When we discover that certain one
That want us, turning out to be
Becomes the best one for us.

And yet, at the same time
You desire them as a friend too
And, not only that, its though
To remember they love you
For exactly who you are
And everything about you.

Love can be for sure
But that it actually exists
It’s unfamiliar territory
To the being on both sides
Not needing to know all
The reasons and why’s.

When we love ourselves
The universe is on our side
And it wants us to thrive
That we are co-creators of our lives
One with The universe.

Then it’s easy to feel love
And have it really affect you
But, I believe that if we love
The person who we desire comes
It actually comes from ourselves.

When we love ourselves, remembering
To be careful to whom we give our hearts to
When we love ourselves we see it.

The events of our lives are lessons
Knowing that there are no shortages
Knowing that there is something greater
Knowing that love is on the way.

This the true pulse of the human condition.

First Embrace

Heart beat, my sweet
Everything is no longer
A blur. Lay low, go slow
Emotions transcending
Understanding.

This trust, endurance
Obvious, so much in love
Evolving, lucid dreaming.

This is our first embrace
In that moment, I felt like
I understood where all
Those things like eternity
And forever.

Where the heart and soul were
Like our roots were shared
Every detail in the tree of life
Was him and him with me.

And in that moment I felt
An unbearable sadness too
His warmth, his soul
Where he had been and
How he had suffered.

How should I treasure them
And where should he go
To heal, he came to me
I take his away.

I didn’t know for sure
But with destiny its certain
I understood then that
We could stay together
Forever.

There was still
The vastness of time
Of our lives before us
That endless expanse
of time, inexorably
Ahead of us.

The worries had seized
Soon they melted away slowly
All that was left him
Was his soft lips
And in his embrace.

A Soul Like Mine

People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. ~ Elizabeth Gilbert

Have you ever had the feeling
That you have known them before
Not so much in a your face familiar
But in the kind of way, where you feel it.

It is an inexplicable familiarity
when you look into that person’s eyes
Perhaps you have shared many lives
With them or maybe just this one.

You just feel it in your bones
That this is someone who has been
And will be important to you
Maybe it’s deja’ vu, maybe not.

Before we’re born into this life
We have a soul and there are other souls
Certain lessons are learned from each
For when it is time to awaken.

The soul awakens from where it lay sleeping
We may be here a lifetime to the shared
With this soul in another life, or several
Some of us have many soul mates, some none.

Not everyone we encounter connects
And not every soul connects with me
So how do I know if met my soul mate.

It is particularly deep soul connection
There will be a freeze-frame memory
Of the first moment you met that person
In other words, to later reflect back upon.

It might be the first time we met
With this person we have a clear picture
Its clear in our mind of all of the states
of that moment when they first entered our lives.

Signs you have met your soul mate

There is a powerful, instantaneous feeling that you have known the other before.
~
You felt an instant and deep connection for each other.
~
Words aren’t good enough to describe the electrifying feelings you share together.
~
Your relationship is immediate, as if no time has passed since you last ‘knew’ each other
~
Time and space lose meaning when you look into this person’s eyes.
~
You have a completely open relationship and don’t fear judgment.
~
Neither one of you are dependent on the other for your sense of self.
~
Your feelings for each other are spiritual.
~
There are no restrictions within the relationship.
~
There is no need for ownership or control.
~
Both of you know without a doubt you were brought together for a reason.
~
The relationship has a deep sense of purpose.
~
You become one without losing your individual identities.
~
You see yourself in the other person’s eyes.

Soul mate relationships, while wonderful, are almost never pain-free. These people are brought into our lives to help us grow and as a result, they often challenge us more than others. When you find a soul mate it’s not just all jumping on clouds and smiling as you gaze into each other’s eyes for hours (though there is some of that). Lots of growth takes place when you find such a soul.Ref: http://patski.hubpages.com/hub/loveconnection

The Art of Affection

628x471

Affection is the art of emotion
Of an internal response
The survival of probability
And of course of the concrete.

Affection identifies emotion
Different from physical phenomena
Although emotion is closely related
Affection is actually chemical.

Affection is the process of the social
The interaction between two or more
It is to be given to others
As if to say that we given to our affection.

An emotion that can only we can provide
Meaning that if we can give it
Then we are capable of receiving it.

It is the only experience by oneself
Without the requirement of another
It describes and appreciates
The possibility of a hearts desire.

Capable to process affection
Is when he gives me his love
When I give her my trust
When she gives me her love
And when he gives me his
My feelings are transmitted
Only then is love is achievable.

hearts-desire-denice-rinks

The flow of Affection moves
Continually from one to another
Producing effective emotion
It can be stored and accumulated
Built up and saved up.

A high capacity for affection
Is the sensual, sometimes sexual
And other times, a tender admiration
That we can give to the other another

It is a phenomenon like mass
The energy that it can be stored
And moved or transported.
Giving requires some effort.

Affection is essential in the humans
We all share the sensation
That human species has needs
And it’s in the giving
What we are able to receive.

Affection

Affection is a kind of door to the heart. I cannot ask you to care for me. You just have to let it be you.

It is up to you to want me and need me. To want me to come in you must knock and ask me in.

I stand here at your threshold and knock. If you open the door I will come not just through the door, but into your heart too.
